The FMSCI Gypsy Challenge brought six crews and a familiar shape of Indian rallying to Rally of Coimbatore. The published class summary placed Chethan Chengappa and Sujith Chengappa first, Sanjay Agarwal and Dinky Varghese second, and Kariappa Mekerira and Abhinav Ganapathy third.

The detailed overall export carries six Gypsy entries through the event. It gives the category a wider story than the podium alone, with Avin Nanjappa and Abhilash Sudhindra, Vinod Singh and Shailendra Singh, and Kavan Kariappa K G and Gaurav Aiyappa also reaching the classified record.

Chethan and Sujith take the published class win

Chethan Chengappa and Sujith Chengappa led the FMSCI Gypsy Challenge summary. The result gave the Kodagu crew the class headline after a rally built around fast, repeated gravel stages and a route that tested older four-wheel-drive machinery through every service window.

Sanjay Agarwal and Dinky Varghese were listed second in the published class summary. Kariappa Mekerira and Abhinav Ganapathy completed the published top three. The three crews created the front of a category where car control, reliability and the ability to keep a familiar platform moving mattered as much as outright stage speed.

The BlueBand Sports final-results graphic identifies Kariappa Mekerira and Abhinav Ganapathy, Avin Nanjappa and Abhilash Sudhindra, and Chethan Chengappa and Sujith Chengappa among the Gypsy finishers.

A category with its own rhythm

The Gypsy Challenge does more than add older machinery to a national rally. It gives drivers and navigators a category with a particular rhythm, where traction, weight transfer and mechanical sympathy shape the way speed is built. The six-crew record shows how many different crews kept that rhythm alive through Coimbatore.

Chethan and Sujith led the published Gypsy podium. Five more crews kept the Challenge in the final record.
