TVS has given the Raider 125 a fresh comic-book identity with the Doctor Doom Edition, a new Super Squad variant that brings a spectral green finish and character-inspired detailing to one of India’s most recognisable sporty commuters.

Priced at ₹95,320 ex-showroom Delhi, the new edition keeps the Raider’s familiar engine, chassis and connected features while making the visual experience more expressive. The colour shifts between green and brown tones as the light changes, giving the bike a surface that feels different from ordinary paint every time the rider walks back to it.

A special edition built around personality

The Raider has always been a motorcycle that blends everyday usefulness with a more energetic visual language. The Doctor Doom edition leans into the second part of that balance. Its spectral green bodywork, multi-tone treatment and blacked-out details create a distinctive road presence, while the graphics reference Doctor Doom’s armour and green-and-metal character palette.

The Super Squad series has already shown how a familiar motorcycle can attract new attention through colour and storytelling. The latest edition continues that idea with a finish that changes subtly as the viewing angle changes. It gives the owner something personal to enjoy without asking for a different riding routine or a more demanding maintenance schedule.

The Raider package stays practical

Under the new finish sits the Raider’s 124.8cc three-valve single-cylinder engine and five-speed transmission. TVS has kept the core mechanical package because the bike’s appeal comes from how easily it fits into daily life. It can handle the commute, thread through busy streets and still offer enough character for a longer evening ride.

The equipment story is equally familiar. The connected reverse LCD cluster brings smartphone-linked functions into the cockpit, while iGO Assist supports the rider with a more responsive everyday experience. Depending on the variant equipment structure, the Raider family also offers features such as riding information, notifications and practical braking technology that keep the bike easy to use in urban traffic.

A motorcycle that makes the daily ride feel brighter

Special editions work best when they add emotion to a product people already understand. The Raider Doctor Doom Edition does that through a simple idea: give the motorcycle a finish that stands out at a traffic light, outside a college gate or parked beside a group of friends, then let the regular Raider strengths carry the ownership experience forward.

That balance is important for younger riders. They want a motorcycle that reflects their interests, while also needing dependable running costs, familiar service support and a comfortable riding position. The Raider’s compact dimensions and manageable performance make it approachable, and the new styling gives it a stronger sense of occasion.

The Super Squad story keeps growing

TVS has used the Super Squad series to connect motorcycles with popular culture in a way that feels immediate and visual. Each edition brings a new colour conversation to the showroom, and each gives riders a way to choose a bike based on personality as well as specification. Doctor Doom adds a darker, richer tone to the Raider family while preserving the model’s friendly everyday character.

For riders considering a 125cc motorcycle, the most attractive part is the combination of familiarity and individuality. The engine and features remain easy to understand, while the finish gives the bike a memorable identity from the first day of ownership. That is a strong formula for a special edition, and it explains why the Raider continues to attract attention in a busy commuter segment.

A commuter with a little theatre

The Doctor Doom Edition understands that a motorcycle can be practical and personal at the same time. The Raider already fits easily into city life. Its special finish gives the daily journey a stronger sense of identity, with a green surface that changes character as the light moves across it.

The comic inspired details work because they stay connected to the motorcycle’s shape. The armour references and darker trim add a new mood without changing the familiar riding position or the compact dimensions that make the Raider easy to place in traffic.

The 124.8cc engine and five speed gearbox keep the ownership proposition approachable. Riders can use the bike for a commute, a college run or an evening trip without needing to learn a more demanding machine. Connected information in the display brings a modern touch to that routine.

Special editions live through the way owners feel when they walk back to the bike. The Raider Doctor Doom Edition gives that moment a brighter colour and a little more personality, while the dependable daily package carries on beneath it.
